The Museum will re-open to the public on the 19th May 2021
Wednesdays 14:00 – 16:30
Saturdays 14:00 – 16:30
Visitors are required to adhere to social distancing guidelines. Hand sanitiser is available and regular cleaning of touch points is carried out. Adults are to wear a face covering over their mouth and nose unless medical exemptions apply. ALL visitors are required to ‘check-in’ via the NHS Track&Trace app or by leaving your details confidentially with the volunteer at reception. We politely request that visitors refrain from handling any of the artefacts on display as they are generally very old and delicate and, in many cases, on loan to us from various sources.
Concession (O.A.P) £1.50
Family (2 adults, 2 children) £5
Groups £P.O.A (subject to government guidelines in respect to Covid-19)
For groups of (max of 6) wishing to arrange a visit during our closed periods, please contact Lena Crowder on 01795 875111, or email email@example.com.
Regrettably because of the age and size of the building, the museum is not suitable wheelchair users, prams or pushchairs. It may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility due to the stairs. Prams/pushchairs etc can be left outside but this is at the owner’s risk. We take no responsibility for items damaged, lost or stolen whilst left unattended.
