Opening Times

 The museum is open on the ‘green’ days, 2pm until 4.30pm(last admission 4pm)

Special events:

10th September: WW2 event 10am-3pm

We politely request that visitors refrain from handling any of the artefacts on display as they are generally very old and delicate and, in many cases, on loan to us from various sources. Masks are now at the discretion of the visitor.

Regrettably because of the age and size of the building, the museum is not suitable wheelchair users, prams or pushchairs.  It may be unsuitable for those with limited mobility due to the stairs. Prams/pushchairs etc can be left outside but this is at the owner’s risk.  We take no responsibility for items damaged, lost or stolen whilst left unattended.
