Programme of Meetings for 2018/2019

 

Meetings held at the Bethel Hall, Chapel Street, Minster, Sheppey at 7.45pm

November 28th – Wooden to Steel Ships at Sheerness Speaker Jeremy Thornton.

December – 8th and 15th- Father  Christmas arrives 11am -3pm  at the winter Wonderland scene at The Gatehouse cost £2 per Child including a present.

December  12th  Christmas Social Evening  entertained by the Big Fish Band members only.

January 30th  –  Sheppey’s Farms – Ken Ingleton

February 27th – Women on Sheppey in WW1- Janis Thornton, Chris Rees, Jo Eden.

March 27th  – A Journey along the light Railway -Martin Hawkins.

April 24th  –  Sheppey’s Martime Disasters  – Daphne Charman

May 29th Exploring the History of Bluetown- Jenny Hurkett meet at the Blue town Hertiage Centre At 7pm.

June 26th Sheppey History Trail Halfway  cemetery-   Johnathan Fryer meet at the Halfway Road Gate at 6.30pm

July 31st Dockyard Church meet there at 6.30. –  Matt Brown.

August – Round the Island Bus tour ( date to be arrange contact

Sept 25th – History of Sheppey United Football Club
